FeederPulse is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your data when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our fishing services, we collect:

Account Information: Email and User ID via Firebase Authentication.
App Data: Fishing logs, rod settings, and catch history stored in Firebase Firestore.
Location Data: To provide accurate weather forecasts for your fishing spot, we collect your device's precise or coarse location. This data is used only while the app is in use to fetch weather data.
Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized data such as screen views, session duration, and app interactions to improve our features.
Subscription Data: RevenueCat manages your Pro status. Financial transactions are handled securely by Apple.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

Sync your data across devices.
Provide real-time weather forecasts based on your current location.
Analyze app performance and user behavior to improve the experience.
Manage your Pro subscription.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with:

Google Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Analytics): For data storage, login, and app usage analysis.
RevenueCat: For subscription management.
Apple: For payment processing and App Store operations.

We do NOT sell or share your personal or location data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Location Data: We do not store a permanent history of your movements. Location is used "on-the-fly" to fetch weather updates.

Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated fishing and personal data at any time via the App Settings. This process is permanent and removes all your data from our Firebase servers.

We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to ensure your data remains protected.
